Cynthia has been published in numerous literary journals and anthologies on every continent, if the online Antartica Journal counts. Her short stories and poetry have been broadcast internationally and nominated for The Pushcart Prize and Best of the Net Anthology. Her latest poetry collection, Rainforest in Russet, available from Amazon, Silver Bow Publishing and local shops, went instantly to the top of the charts in Canadian and international poetry. She is a full member of The League of Canadian Poets and The Writers' Union of Canada, reading regularly around North America. She is a graduate of The Simon Fraser University Writer's Studio, in addition to holding honors degrees in creative writing and English from York University. She taught high school for many years before becoming a writing coach and is available for workshops and classroom visits. She enjoyed being the City of Richmond's 2019 Writer in Residence and is currently pursuing her MFA in creative writing.
